Add a Feminie Touch to Your Going Out Style

Jeans and a Lace Top

Hello, beautiful! My go-to look is jeans and you name it… a sweater, a tunic, a tank, tweed, and even a little sparkle. My go-to going out style is no different- just a little elevated by adding a heel, a clutch, and probably a little eyeliner (as you can tell, I keep my makeup very minimal on the daily). Adding a feminine touch, such as ruffles or a little shimmer, is another way to elevate your denim look. There’s nothing more feminine or sexy than lace… but it’s easy to overdo it and then you cross over into a much less desirable look. The intricate details of lace need to be balanced with a simple and chic style. Alexis is a designer that I have fallen in love with and she creates the most gorgeous lace pieces. This dreamy Alexis blouse has a fitted button-down bodice with billowy and romantic sheer sleeves. Even though I’ve had it for a few years, its timeless beauty will never go out of style. Here, I paired it with indigo flared jeans, a leopard kitten heel, creamy cat-eye sunnies, and a rose gold clutch. I love how the dark, bold denim compliments the softness of the lace. The leopard kitten heel plays off this contrast with the sexy, bold fabrication and the subtle height. The rose gold clutch adds the right amount of feminine shimmer.

Although pairing this blouse with jeans is my favorite way to style it, it’s proven to be incredibly versatile. For an elegant look, couple it with flowy, wide-leg ivory pants. For a more summery look, wear it with linen shorts and a strappy sandal. The possibilities are endless. How would you style this creamy lace blouse? Please share in the comments below.
