Summer Essentials- Sandal-ready Feet

summer feet

I’m rounding up my Summer Essentials Week with my favorite products to keep your feet pretty and baby-soft for doning all your summer sandals. Living in Florida, I pretty much live in sandals and flip-flops all year, and even more during the hot summer months. From heel to toe, I want my feet glowing, which can be a challenge due to the fact that the sunny sandals I want to live in all season long cause dry and calloused heels (not such a nice look). I treat myself to an express mani and pedi once a month but my feet need a little attention in between my monthly pampering. I don’t have a lot of extra time (hence the express mani and pedi) to devote to this so I was thrilled when I was introduced to FarmHouse Fresh Honey Heel Glaze. Just before I go to sleep I use the included fan brush to coat the golden elixir all over my heels and any other rough patches on my feet. I then cover them with socks and let it soak in over night. I like to use my dreamy and supple aloe socks to give an extra dose of moisturizers. In the shower the next morning, I use a crystal callus buffer. What I love about this colorful tool is that not only does it buff the dry skin, it also smooths it- no rough bits left behind! Most of the work is done by the heel glaze while I sleep- I do have time for that! I’m not very good at staying in the lines when it comes to painting my own nails (also why I get the monthly mani and pedi), but I do keep an extra jar of my favorite Spa Ritual nail polish around just in case I need a touch up.

FarmHouse Fresh Honey Heel Glaze– Made with honey, aloe, papaya, and pineapple, this pedicure in a jar sounds like a delicious and nourishing breakfast treat. It can be used as an overnight heel mask like I shared with you, or it can be used as a quick moisturizer.

Earth Therapeutics Aloe Socks– I got several pairs of these nourishing socks from Whole Foods while grocery shopping but you can get them here. Keeping my feet warm while softening them, I also like to wear these cozy socks with my boots during winter months.

Czech Crystal Glass Spa Bar Slab Foot File– This works wonders on rough, dry skin and is more gentle than the abrasive metal alternatives.

SpaRitual Nail Lacquer in Thunder Road– You may have noticed that I’m always wearing a light purple nail polish. I love the subtle yet fun pop of color it gives. I’ve tried various similar hues from other brands, but this one from the all natural and cruelty-free SpaRitual is the perfect shade or my skin tone.

What are your favorite foot-pampering products to keep you sandal-ready all season long?
